Plouf 2014 Closing Ceremony at Hotel de Ville du Pecq a great success!

The Plouf 2014 project came to its official end on 15th December when we were able to congratulate the winners and confirm to the charity Autisme en Yvelines  that we beat all our targets and raised over €12,000 in donations.DSC_3342--20141111-WBPlouf 2014 has indeed been a great success in 2014, with 32 teams of local people giving an hour of their time to swim as many lengths as possible to raise funds for charity.

250 participants between the ages of 7 and 77 raised donations from friends and family and then swam as far and fast as they could to help Autism en Yvelines.

There wDSC_3757--20141111-WBere teams of students from the Lycée International, parents groups, swimming clubs and families where three generations swam together to help the cause of Autism.

A special thanks to Patrick Bigant, Pool Manager for opening the pool on a public holiday and being with us through out the day to help with every need.

A trophy for the most money raised by a team went to Alain Cavadini who’s team “St Germain” raised €1264.
